I was a walking cliché when I was pregnant for Leah. My morning sickness was in the morning, I stopped at deli once a week for deliciously good dill pickles, and my freezer was well stocked with ice cream at all times.
This time around is so much different! There is not much food that I am remotely interested in, especially ice cream or anything sweet. I can’t eat chicken, or BBQ sauce, and I can’t drink ginger ale (the sweetness of the soda counteracts the ginger and makes me more queasy). Someone suggested eating saltines, but I have tried and the texture of them in my mouth makes me sick.
It’s too bad the 24 hour grocery store doesn’t sell the one thing I am craving and can stand to eat- French onion soup!
